Michael Marselli

Michael Marselli, Treasurer of the Board, specializes in business credit insurance, risk management, and analytics. He is a Director for ARI Global, Inc., a Tampa, Florida-based specialty insurance broker. Before ARI, Michael worked as a market research analyst and writer for Informa Financial Intelligence and Kantar TNS, serving the top financial institutions in the US. He is a graduate of Vanderbilt University with degrees in Philosophy and Mathematics.

Michael has a lifelong passion for literature and the arts, and comes from a family of artists: his mother and daughter are watercolorists, his father was an opera singer, and his grandfather was a sculptor.

Michael has been a member of the Board of Trustees since 2016 and has served as Treasurer since 2020. Upon first visiting the LEC, he was stunned by the quality of the art as well as the light, love, and laughter radiating from the artists. He was amazed by their vibrancy and true love for life.  As a board member, he hopes to help steer the organization toward a sustainable future, so the adults in Tampa can continue to experience the animation and joy that comes with creative community.
