April is OPEN HOUSE MONTH at the L.E.C.!

Do you know someone who has never taken a class at the L.E.C.?  New students can take a class for free during the month of April. It’s as easy as 1-2-3!

Step 1:  Pick a class (not a workshop). Call or email your choice.

Step 2:  Come into the L.E.C. to pick up a voucher for that class (first 25 people).

Step 3:  Attend the class during the month of April.

Class & Workshop News

• NO CHAIR YOGA on Friday, April 18 and Monday, April 21.

• CELEBRATE EARTH DAY: Celebrate Earth Day by turning what could be trash into treasure.  During the Upcycled Art Workshop on Saturday, April 19 from 10am – 12pm, use every day and found objects to create several projects: wind chimes, tea light lanterns, outdoor decorations, and more!  Register online here, or you can email info@lectampa.org, call (813) 932-0241, or sign up in person.

• BEAUTIFUL WRITING MADE EASY:  From everyday messages to friends or meaningful quotes, learn to add style to what you write. Join instructor Emily Kouris’ Calligraphy class on Thursdays from 10am -12pm through May 1.  No experience necessary. • CELEBRATE WITH POETRY:   April is National Poetry Month.  Celebrate by attending the Poetry class on Thursdays from 10:30am – 12pm online and in person. The topic for this week is  “Beat Poems”. No experience necessary.
