Wednesday, January 8

• ART DROP-OFF DEADLINE: Anyone who submitted applications and fees for the State Fair through the LEC MUST drop off their art on or before Wednesday, Jan. 8. All art must be correctly wired for display.  Tim Gibbons will assist with wiring entries from 11am – 1pm on January 8.

• FOOD WITH FRIENDS:The January Potluck will take place on Wednesday, January 8. Paint Your Heart Out Tampa (PYHOT) will be the guest.  If your house needs a new coat of paint and you are a low-income senior who owns your home, PYHOT may be able to paint your home for free! You can also recommend someone who fits the qualifications.  Click here to view the requirements.

• MAH JONGG TIME SHIFT: On Wednesday, January 8 ONLY, the Intermediate/Advanced Open Play Mah Jongg class will meet from 1:30pm – 4pm.

Class and Workshop News

• NEW DRAWING CLASS STARTING: Tim Gibbons will be offering a 6-week Beginning Drawing class on Thursday mornings (10am – 12pm) starting January 9.  Learn perspective, shading, shadowing, and different uses of materials. • NEW POETRY CLASS STARTING: Mish Murphy will be returning with an 8-week Poetry class on Thursdays from 10:30am – 12pm starting January 9. The class will be in person and online.  Register online here , or you can email info@lectampa.org, call (813) 932-0241, or sign up in person.

• FILLED TO THE BRIM: The Acrylic Pour Workshop on Saturday, January 18 is at capacity.  No new registrations are being accepted.

• NO PLEIN AIR this week. Keep warm and create inside this week.

• PHOTO CLUB: There are NO scheduled Photo Club events during the week of January 6 – 11.
